On Monday, June 1, 2009, Incheon Metropolitan City opened the Songdo International City extension for Incheon Metro Line 1. The existing Incheon Metro Line 1 ran from Gyeyang Station to Dongmak Station, and after the opening ceremony, it will expand to Campus Town, Techno Park, Knowledge Information Complex, Incheon National University Entrance, Central Park, International Business District, and Songdo Dal-Bit(Moonlight) Festival Park.
