On Thursday, July 23, 2015, Weihai, China, held the “Weihai Investment and Trade Briefing for the Korea-China Free Trade Agreement Local Economic Cooperation Pilot Zone” in Banpo-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul. About 340 participants from more than 200 organizations attended, including officials from the Weihai municipal government, KOTRA, the Korea-China Economic Association, the Overseas Chinese Association, companies already investing in Weihai, and businesses interested in investment and trade. Zhang Hui (张惠), Mayor of Weihai, and Kim Jin-yong, Vice Commissioner of the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, introduced the investment environment and 40 projects in 14 sectors, followed by a question-and-answer session and networking.
