On Monday, October 26, 2020, Incheon Metropolitan City finalized the construction agreement for Cheongna Sky Bridge (formerly the Third Link Bridge), which outlines cost sharing among participating agencies. Out of the total $565 million project budget, LH (Korea Land & Housing Corporation) and Incheon Urban Development Corporation will cover 95.3% ($539 million). The bridge will connect Jungsan-dong, Jung-gu to Cheongna-dong, Seo-gu. It will have a total length of 4.7 km (3.5 km over water, 1.1 km on land), a width of 29 m, and six lanes with pedestrian and bicycle paths. Once completed, Cheongna Sky Bridge (Third Link Bridge) is expected to make significant contributions to improving residential conditions in Yeongjong International City, promoting balanced development in the western Seoul Metropolitan Area, developing Yeongjong Sky City, promoting development and investment in Cheongna International City, and ensuring on-time operations at Incheon International Airport.
