On January 13, 2026 (Tuesday), Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor Yoo Jeong-bok visited the Starfield Cheongna construction site currently being developed in Cheongna International City to inspect the progress of the project. The visit was conducted to review construction progress, safety management, and the implementation of administrative procedures for a large-scale private investment project within the Incheon Free Economic Zone. Starfield Cheongna is being developed as a mixed-use complex combining a multi-purpose stadium and a large-scale shopping facility. The project includes a 21,000-seat domed stadium along with cultural, performance, and exhibition facilities, and construction is underway with completion targeted for the end of 2027.
