On Saturday, November 30, 2025, the Incheon Free Economic Zone (IFEZ) opened the upper deck of Cheongna Sky Bridge (formerly the Third Link Bridge) to the public for the first time and hosted the Cheongna Sky Bridge Opening Commemorative National Duathlon. The event was organized to introduce the bridge nationwide ahead of its official opening in January 2026 and to celebrate the occasion with citizens. Approximately 500 athletes from across the country participated, competing in a duathlon consisting of a 5 km run, a 40 km cycle ride, and a 10 km run, following a looped course through Cheongna city and the Cheongna Sky Bridge (Third Link Bridge) section. Cheongna Sky Bridge (Third Link Bridge) is a 4.68 km-long marine bridge with six lanes (three in each direction) connecting Cheongna International City and Yeongjong International City. The bridge is being developed as an extreme tourism-oriented bridge with various facilities, including pedestrian walkways, bicycle paths, the world’s tallest 184 m ocean-view observation deck, and an edge walk, offering diverse attractions for visitors.
