On Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, IFEZ held a seminar on strategies to create a global floriculture Asia hub. The seminar was attended by industry and academic experts, including officials from the Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy, Incheon Metropolitan City, Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority, Incheon Airport Corporation, Korea Land and Housing Corporation, and Korea Rural Community Corporation. Starting with the theme of 「The Fourth Industrial Revolution and Future Agricultural Prospects and Response Plan」 by Heo Tae-woong, a professor of livestock science at Gyeongsang National University, a total of four people presented the contents related to the creation of a flower complex, and IFEZ received a letter of intent (LOI) from a global flower distribution center design and design company.
