On March 21, 2007 (Wednesday), IFEZ held a groundbreaking ceremony for the construction of u-IT cluster sharing infrastructure at the site of Songdo International City, attended by some 300 people, including the mayor of Incheon Metropolitan City, the chairman of the Incheon Metropolitan City Council, and the Minister of Information and Communication.
