On February 1, 2007, IFEZ held a groundbreaking ceremony for the 65-story Northeast Asia Trade Tower (NEATT), convention center hotel, and Central Park, which will become landmarks of Songdo International Business Complex. More than 300 people attended the groundbreaking ceremony, including Deputy Prime Minister Kwon Oh-kyu, Incheon Metropolitan City Mayor Ahn Sang-soo, Incheon Free Economic Zone Commissioner Lee Hwan-kyun, and U.S. Ambassador to Korea Alexander Vershbow.
