On Thursday, August 31, 2023, IFEZ signed a memorandum of understanding with the Korea e-Sports Association, Incheon e-Sports Association, and Daewon Plus Development to create an e-sports game-specific complex and game industry cluster in connection with the promotion of Cheongna International City. Cheongna G Tech City, which is being promoted to make Incheon a global e-sports hub, is a game-specific complex centered on the e-sports industry. Educational facilities, R&D facilities, domestic and foreign game companies' innovation districts and studios, knowledge industry centers, tourism MICE facilities, and game entertainment districts are planned for about 263,395㎡ of investment attraction land in Cheongna International City.
